Mashed Potato Waffles Recipe
Delicious and crispy mashed potato waffles that are ideal for breakfast. They tend to be amazing for lunch, snacks and dinner as well.

Oil for greasing the waffle iron

Instructions
Add the salt and water to a pot and then boil the potatoes for approx 30 to 40 minutes until cooked through.
Warm the milk and mix 1 Tbsp butter into the milk until it is melted.
Mash the potatoes and the milk and butter together until finely mashed.
Allow the mash to cool to room temperature.
Add the egg and flour to your mashed potatoes and mix together thoroughly.
Preheat your waffle iron nd grease the surface of the iron by brushing lightly with oil.
Add approx 1 cup of mash to the waffle iron and cook until light brown and crispy.
Remove from the waffle iron and serve warm.
Always follow the direction for your specific brand of waffle iron.
