  • 1 Stand mixer
  • 1 large Frying pan with lid

Ingredients

  • 350 gr Flour
  • ½ tsp Yeast Dry
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Butter
  • 1 cup Water at room temperature

  • Add flour to your mixing bowl. Add salt and dry yeast and combine.
  • Add the room temperature water and mix in the stand mixer
  • Add oil and then butter.
  • Allow to mix and knead till the dough is smooth.
  • Remove from the stand mixer and cover. Allow to rise for 1 hour.
  • Gently knead again and then separate the dough in half. Cover and allow to rest for 15 minutes.
  • Heat a large frying pan with a suitable lid. The pan should be medium to high. No oil is needed.
  • Roll the half dough into a flat round layer the size of your pan. Place in pan and cover with lid. If moisture builds up on lid then dry off.
  • After 5 to 7 minutes turn the bread and cook again for 5 to 7 minutes until crispy.
  • Remove from pan and brush lightly with a little butter, Sprinkle lightly with coarse salt or a spice of your choice. Allow to cool slightly before eating.
