Coconut cookie recipe with corn flakes
Cookies made from corn flakes and coconut – lovely and crispy and super delicious.
Equipment
- baking tray
- Handheld mixer or
- Mixing machine
Ingredients
- 1 cup Corn Flakes crushed
- 125 gr Butter (4 oz)
- ¾ cup Sugar
- 1 cup Flour
- 1 lrg Egg
- ½ cup Coconut dessicated
- 1 cup Oats
- ½ tsp Vanilla essence
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 pinch Salt
Instructions
- Place the butter and sugar in a mixing bowl and cream using your mixer
- Add the egg and mix well
- Now add all the ingredients and mix well
- Form into small balls cookie sized and place on the greased baking tray
- Press lightly with a fork to flatten slightly
- Place in a preheated oven at 190°C (375°F) for 15 minutes
- Remove from oven and allow to cool
